During the morning hours of Saturday, April 25, 2026, road closures will be in effect along Rio Grande Avenue for the MudHen IPA 5K. The race will begin in front of MudHen Brewing Company (127 W. Rio Grande Avenue), proceed east to the boardwalk, continue south into Wildwood Crest, and then loop back to finish at the starting location.
All lanes of Rio Grande Avenue east of Park Boulevard will close at approximately 6:00 AM to allow for race setup. This closure will impact northbound and southbound traffic on Arctic Avenue, New Jersey Avenue, Pacific Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, and Ocean Avenue. Motorists traveling north or south of Rio Grande Avenue should use Park Boulevard as an alternate route during the closure. Rio Grande Avenue is expected to reopen at approximately 12:00 PM.
Closures will be clearly marked with barricades, marked patrol vehicles, uniformed officers, and signage.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in the Rio Grande Avenue area during the morning hours due to altered traffic patterns.
