TRAFFIC ADVISORY – GOFFLE HILL ROAD Paving Project Project Scope: Work Schedule: Traffic Impact: Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau
Please be advised that a roadway improvement project is scheduled to take place on Goffle Hill Road as part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades.
Paving of the roadway surface along designated sections of Goffle Hill Road.
• Start/End Date: April 22, 2026
• Location: Goffle Hill Road from Grandview Ave to Sicomac Road AND Goffle Hill Road from Lafayette Ave to 94 Goffle Hill Road.
• Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting
• Expect lane closures, alternating traffic patterns, and periodic delays throughout the project duration.
• Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place to assist motorists.
• Drivers are encouraged to use caution, obey instructions from Officers, and seek alternate routes when possible.
Access:
Local residents, emergency vehicles, and school transportation will be accommodated, though minor delays may occur.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed. This work is being performed to ensure safer and smoother travel for all who use Goffle Hill Road.
