1. Carjacking Arrest (1645) California Street and Channel Street, Civic District
The female victim, 40, was driving in the listed area when the known suspect stopped her and attempted to grab her through the car window. The victim was able to flee on foot, and the suspect took her car. Officers later located the vehicle and took the suspect into custody without incident. While being transported to the County Jail, the suspect kicked the patrol vehicle’s door, damaging it. ARRESTED: Jack Scott, 47, for
carjacking, domestic battery, vandalism, and probation violation.
