Officers were conducting an investigation at an area residence when the suspect concealed himself within a crawlspace and refused orders to come out. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Cesar Chan, 63, for resisting arrest, gambling charges, and warrants.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1225) 4400 Block of Cotton Court, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 26, was in the listed area for a child custody exchange when the known suspect brandished a box cutter, attempted to vandalize her vehicle, and threw it at her. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Carjacking Arrest (1426) 200 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District
The female victim, 41, was parked in the listed area when the suspect pushed her and tried to force his way into her car. A struggle ensued. Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Ethen Glass, 23, for attempted carjacking.
