HNN Townwide Drill – Earthquake Response Exercise
On Sunday, April 26, the Town of Hillsborough will host the Hillsborough Neighborhood Network (HNN)’s Townwide Drill, simulating a magnitude 7.0 earthquake on the Hayward Fault with impacts across town.
Hillsborough residents, HNN members, and CERT members are invited to practice emergency response skills including light search and rescue, damage assessment, and other hands-on activities. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is needed. The drill is supported by the Hillsborough Police Department (HPD) and Central County Fire Department (CCFD).
