Oakland Police Westside Patrol officers arrested a man in connection with a recent bank robbery in North Oakland. Just after 11:30 p.m. on April 22, 2026, officers safely took the suspect into custody at a residence in West Oakland. Later, a search warrant was executed, and officers recovered evidence related to the robbery.
The robbery occurred on April 20, 2026, in the 100 block of 40th Street.
The case will be forwarded to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential charges.
