Road Closure Advisory: The intersection of Carteret St. and King St. in downtown Beaufort will be temporarily closed for construction 
The intersection of Carteret Street and King Street in downtown Beaufort will be temporarily closed for the King Street Drainage Improvement Project. Contructions starting today at 3:00 P.M.
J.H. Hiers Construction will be completing this work, which includes stormwater, water, and sewer upgrades to improve infrastructure in the area.
Closure Details:
• Begins: Friday, April 24 at 3:00 PM
• Reopens: Monday, April 27 at 5:00 AM
During this time, the intersection will be fully closed, and detours will be in place.
Please remember:
• Follow posted detour signs
• Obey directions from traffic control personnel
• Use caution and stay alert for workers and equipment
