Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating the pictured suspect, who shoplifted merchandise from a discount store on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
At approximately 5:22 p.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video taking two bottles of Gain detergent from the Dollar Tree in the 500 block of Raymond Boulevard. The suspect left the store and fled westbound on Raymond Boulevard.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
