1. Weapons Arrest (1715) California Street and Hazelton Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of an armed subject driving in the listed area. They located and detained the suspect and found that he was in unlawful possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Jose Ramirez, 24, for weapon charges.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1945) Fresno Avenue and Charter Way, Seaport District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The pursuit concluded when the suspect yielded and surrendered. ARRESTED: Marco Solis, 33, for evading.
3. Resisting Arrest (2325) Bianchi Road and Claremont Avenue, Valley Oak District
Officers were in the listed area when they encountered the suspect, who threatened them with a knife. Officers used force to disarm the suspect after he ignored their commands to surrender and walked toward them. The suspect received treatment for minor injuries at an area hospital before being booked into the County Jail. ARRESTED: Matthew Davis, 32, for brandishing, criminal threats, and resisting arrest.
