* At 953 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Fairview to near Havana to Tallula to 6 miles northeast of Athensville, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Petersburg, Athens, New Berlin, Waverly, Pleasant Plains, Loami, and Easton around 1000 AM CDT. Springfield, Mason City, Greenview, and Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport around 1005 AM CDT. Chatham, Auburn, Sherman, Middletown, and Illinois State Fairgrounds around 1010 AM CDT.
