The City of Rosemead is excited to host our Superhero 5K Fun Run/Walk event on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Rosemead Park (4343 Encinita Ave.) from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will start at Rosemead Park and route through the neighborhood East of Rosemead Park. Street closures will take effect between 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We highly encourage patrons to avoid the area during this time.
The event includes:
- 50-yard Diaper Dash for ages 3-5 years. old at 8:00 a.m.
- 1K Fun Run/Walk for ages 6-12 years old at 8:20 a.m.
- 5K Fun Run/Wlak for ages 12 & under and 13+ years old at 8:45 a.m.
- Pre-registration is highly recommended, but walk-in registration is welcome!
Street Closure includes:
- Encinita Avenue (From Mission Drive to Lower Azusa Road)
- Encinita Ave and Pitkin Street
- Encinita Ave and Rio Dell Street
- Encinita Ave and Rose Street
- Mission Drive and Claudia Avenue
- #1 Eastbound Lane on Mission Drive between Valley Blvd. to Encinita Ave.
- *In addition to the street closure, we asked that all residents avoid parking along the side designated for the running route.
