* At 928 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Altenburg, or 13 miles west of Murphysboro, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Carbondale, Murphysboro, De Soto, Hurst, Grand Tower, Altenburg, Cedar Lake Area, Makanda, Frohna, Gorham, and Longtown.
* AFFECTED AREAS: JACKSON, IL ... PERRY, MO
