A temporary lane closure will occur on a portion of Highway 170 in Okatie from Wednesday, April 29, to Friday, May 1, as Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority crews complete a water main repair.
During this time, approximately a quarter-mile of the right-hand westbound lane of Highway 170 approaching Snake Road will be closed to traffic. Work will take place daily between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. and is expected to be completed within two days.
Motorists should anticipate delays and are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area.
