1. Attempted Robbery Arrest (1106) Tuleburg Levee, Civic District
The female victim, 60, was walking in the listed area when she was approached by the suspect, who blocked her path and tried taking her property. The victim struggled with the suspect who then fled. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. ARRESTED: Abraham Jordan, 49, for attempted robbery.
2. Armed Robbery (1640) Lindsay Street and Grant Street, Park District
The male victims, 19, and 21, were waiting in the listed area, when the suspect stopped his car next to them, brandished a firearm and demanded their property. The victims complied, but the suspect struck one of the victims with the firearm before fleeing. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Train vs Pedestrian (0425) 8600 Block of Almondwood Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to the railroad tracks near the call location and located a male subject, 43, that was struck by the train. The subject was transported to a local hospital, where he is expected to survive.
