* At 1039 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of Darling, or 16 miles southeast of Helena-West Helena, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Oxford, Batesville, Water Valley, Holly Springs National Forest, John W Kyle State Park, Marks, Sardis, Jonestown, Crenshaw, Sledge, Pope, Belen, Darling, Pleasant Grove, Springdale, Curtis Station, Burgess, Dundee, Courtland, and Coahoma. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 234 and 255.
