Southern Marshall County in northwestern Mississippi... Tate County in northwestern Mississippi... Northern Panola County in northwestern Mississippi...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1052 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles south of Wall Doxey State Park to near Crenshaw, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Oxford, Senatobia, New Albany, Holly Springs National Forest, John W Kyle State Park, Sardis, Coldwater, Como, Ecru, Cambridge, Harmontown, Bethlehem, Laws Hill, Barr, Etta, Burgess, Independence, Denmark, Pinedale, and Thaxton. This includes the following highways... Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 54 and 69. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 251 and 272.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LAFAYETTE, MS ... MARSHALL, MS ... PANOLA, MS ... PONTOTOC, MS ... TATE, MS ... UNION, MS

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
