Flood Advisory until 03:15AM

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of North Mississippi, including the following counties, Calhoun, Lafayette, Pontotoc, Tate and Union.

* WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 202 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oxford, New Albany, Pontotoc, Water Valley, Holly Springs National Forest, Trace State Park, Bruce, Calhoun City, Vardaman, Derma, Ecru, Pittsboro, Slate Springs, Randolph, Tula, Denmark, Pinedale, Banner, Paris and Etta. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
