Activity for April 29, 2026:
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Morrell Street for a stabbing. A 31-year-old male was transported to the hospital with multiple wounds; he is in stable condition. A 37-year-old female was also treated at the hospital for a stab wound. The 52-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for assault with the intent to murder.
- Officer Reynaga responded to the 600 block of West Biddle Street for a personal welfare check.
- Officer Brooker and Officer Morse made contact with a wanted subject at JPD. A 27-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Van Buren Street for an assault report.
- Officer Panther made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Franklin Street. A 34-year-old male was arrested for a parole violation.
- Officer Tenney conducted a property security check in the 200 block of Douglas Street.
