Wilmington Police have arrested a man on a gun charge following a vehicle stop.
On April 28th at approximately 3:45 p.m., members of the Gun Intelligence Unit were in the area of West 29th and North Washington Streets when they observed a male subject acting suspiciously, while entering a vehicle. Officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 3400 block of North Tatnall Street in reference to a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the male subject, who was identified as 19-year-old Ryshine Holloman. Holloman was taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a loaded .9mm handgun.
Holloman has been charged with the following offenses:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Breach of Conditions of Bond During Commitment
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $70,000 cash-only bail.
