Reminding you once again to remove your keys, fobs and any valuables from your vehicles. Always lock your vehicle, house and garage doors. Store vehicle keys away from entry points and not visible from the outside. Always set house alarms and turn on any camera system nightly and when away from home. There have been a number of car thefts in the surrounding areas. Our Officers have been working hard to prevent these thefts from occuring in our town and have actually thrawted several attempts and caused the suspects to flee town. We have extra officers patrolling our community in an effort to discourage any future attempts in town. Report any suspicious activity to Fair Haven Police dispatch at 732-747-0991. NEVER approach any suspects, only gather as much information as possible, such as description and direction of travel. NEVER leave your children in your vehicle or the vehicle unattended and running. If we all work together, we can put an end to this crime.
