Revolutionary War commemoration & parade today @ Railroad Park. Temporary street closures & simulated gunfire will occur Do not be alarmed 
On Saturday May 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a Revolutanary War commemoration and parade will take place at Railroad Park on Commerce Street, which will commemorate the role that French General Count de Rochambeau and the French army played in aiding General Washington and the Continental Army in the fight for freedom from British rule.
Part of this commemoration will include the firing of simulated Revolutionary War-era muskets. Do not be alarmed if you hear simulated gunfire in the area.
Underhill Ave. and Commerce St., from Route 118 to the Yorktown Firehouse, will be temporarily closed during the parade which will start at 11 a.m.
