TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Danville Devil Mountain Run May 3 Downtown area
The Town of Danville welcomes back the Devil Mountain Run this Sunday, May 3, and will accommodate the event with several street closures in the early morning. This event is 8 a.m.–noon, with road closures beginning at 4 a.m. Please exercise caution as there will be heavier than usual pedestrian traffic.
The following closures and partial closures will occur May 3 between 4 a.m. and noon.
- Railroad Avenue between San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Linda Mesa Avenue
- Hartz Avenue between Hartz Way & Railroad Avenue
- Southbound lanes of Danville Boulevard will detour via El Portal & La Gonda Way
- Wayne Avenue between Danville Boulevard and Iron Horse Trail
- Southbound lanes of San Ramon Valley Boulevard between Diablo Road and Wayne Avenue
- El Cerro Boulevard from Danville Boulevard to El Pintado Road
- El Pintado Road from El Cerro Boulevard to La Gonda Way
- La Gonda Way from El Pintado Road to El Cerro Boulevard
- Runners will also use the Iron Horse Trail and traffic control will be provided at key intersections on the trail for safe crossing at:
- Hartford, Del Amigo, Love Lane, Linda Mesa Avenue, Prospect Avenue
Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays when driving through Downtown Danville Sunday until noon. Parking is available on surrounding public streets and in all Downtown Municipal Parking lots. Closure maps available online.
