INCIDENT: H&S 11378 - Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale and San Bernardino County Arrest Warrant for CVC 12500(A) - Driving Without a License
LOCATION: 1400 block of J Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Paul Marquardt, 51-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 30, 2026, deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police contacted Paul Marquardt during a traffic enforcement stop near the 1400 block of J Street in the City of Needles, CA. for vehicle code violations.
During the stop, Marquardt was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest for CVC 12500(A)-Driving Without a License. Deputies detained Marquardt and conducted a search of his person and property. During the search, deputies located a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine consistent with sales.
Marquardt was subsequently arrested on the above mentioned charges and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Marquardt remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
