The Oakland Police Department (OPD) made an arrest in connection with the homicide of Farhad Farsi that occurred on April 23, 2026, in the 1800 block of Wood Street
.
OPD officers took Eugene Gobar into custody the same day as the homicide. The Alameda County District Attorney's Office charged Gobar for his involvement in the crime.
