* At 1242 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Las Colonias, or 10 miles southwest of La Pryor, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Crystal City, La Pryor, Batesville, Las Colonias, Loma Vista, Bluff, Frio Town, Cometa, and Chula Vista-River Spur.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm.
