Activity for April 30, 2026:
- Officer Castro responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 33-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Castro and Officer Jones were dispatched to the 700 block of West Washington Avenue for a warrant arrest. A 50-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Detective Brooks completed follow-up on a prior weapons offense in the 1200 block of North Waterloo Avenue. A 29-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Additional charges will be sought on the male for being a felon in possession of a firearm; assault with the intent to murder; possession of narcotic paraphernalia; and possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute.
- Officer Richardson responded to the Branch County Jail for a warrant arrest. A 59-year-old female was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of Merriman Street. A 19-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Tenney conducted a traffic stop at North Blackstone Street and West Pearl Street. The 23-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated (high blood alcohol content/super drunk).
- Officers responded to the 2000 block of East Michigan Avenue for a weapons complaint. A 41-year-old male was arrested for breaking and entering, and resisting and obstructing.
