A Utility Issue occurred in the area of Location(s). Situation being fixed. 
Water Service Interruption & Boil Water Notice
Please be advised that water service will be temporarily interrupted today, May 1, 2026, until 3:00 PM, in order to repair a 6-inch water main that was damaged by a contractor.
Affected areas in Cornelia are:
- Section of Maple St. (from Summit to Highland)
- Huff Ave.
- Esta St.
- Scott Ave.
- Dogwood Ave.
- Section of Laurel Dr. (from Spring to Maple)
Once service is restored, a Boil Water Notice will be in effect until further notice.
Important: As a precaution, please boil all water for at least one minute before using it for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Making ice
- Brushing teeth
- Washing dishes
- Any food preparation
We will notify residents when the Boil Water Notice has been lifted. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the safety and reliability of our water sustem.
