The Azalea Classic 5K will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Our officers,
CERT Team led by Mr. Ned, and volunteers will be assisting with road closures to help ensure a safe event.
Road closures will be in effect from 8:00 AM to approximately 11:00 AM. During this time, vehicles will not be allowed on the race course. We asked all residents to plan ahead. If you have a vehicle parked along the race route, please move it by 6:00 AM tomorrow morning, May 2, 2026. Towing will be enforced.
The following streets will be closed to through traffic:
- Queens Chapel Rd (6300–6700)
- Woodberry St (4330–4202)
- Clagett-Pineway (4300–4318)
- Pineway (6930–6822)
- Beechwood Rd (4403–4409)
- Oakridge Rd (6900–6916)
- Clagett Rd (4316–4001)
- Calverton Dr (3806–3804)
- 40th Ave (7008–7000)
- Van Buren St (4001–4015)
- Forest Hill Dr (6900–7000)
- Chansory Ln (6909–6912)
- Wells Pkwy (Even: 6912–6802 / Odd: 6711–6601)
