Alert

Burglary Investigation.

On Thursday, April 29th at approximately 8:05 PM, Officer Garrett Byrne and Officer Andre Civil responded to a report of a possible burglary in progress on Bernini Way.

The caller advised dispatch during a 911 call that he observed an individual inside his residence via his Ring doorbell camera. The caller described the individual as a tall male wearing a white T-shirt and a head-mounted light. The caller then lost sight of the suspect after he left the camera’s view and walked toward the master bedroom.

Officers conducted an interior check of the residence; however, no individual was located. The resident reported that nothing appeared to have been taken at this time.

If anyone has any information or applicable surveillance footage, please contact Detective Brian Luck at (732) 329-4646 ext. 7475.

Community members will see an increase in patrol presence in the area. If you would like a residential security survey to address any potential home security concerns or are interested in forming a Neighborhood Watch Group, please contact Detective Ryan Bartunek of the Community Policing Division at (732) 329-4646 ext. 7476.
