* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations OF 2 TO 5 inches. Winds gusting up to 50 mph.
* WHERE...Portage and Turnagain Pass.
* WHEN...Until 11 PM AKDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Sudden changes from rain to snow will be possible through the rest of today. Drops in visibilities reduced to one half mile is possible due to heavy snowfall and strong winds. The strongest wind gusts will be near Portage. Travel could be very difficult with slick roads and rapid changes to conditions.
* AFFECTED AREAS: PORTAGE ... TURNAGAIN PASS
