PUBLIC SAFTEY NOTICE – SIREN SYSTEM TESTING
Rutherford County Emergency Management will be conducting siren system testing today, Monday, May 4, 2026 in the Lake Lure area from 10:00am-12:00pm.
During this time, residents may hear audible sirens and voice announcements as part of testing and system checks.
If during testing there is a true emergency, alerts will be sent out via our Alert Rutherford – Everbridge notification system, through this page & Rutherford County Government, North Carolina social media pages.
