New Garbage and Recying Schedule to begin May 11th. 
The Borough of Matawan is transitioning to a new garbage and recycling hauler, Jersey Specialized Hauling, Inc., beginning May 11, following the expiration of its previous contract.
The garbage collection schedule will be as follows (Please refer to the zone map attachment):
Zone 1 & 2 (Route 34 South) Friday
Zone 3 (Route 34 North) Monday
Zone 4 ( Route 34 North) Tuesday
Recycling collection will be as follows (Please refer to the zone map attachment):
Zone 1 & 2 ( Route 34 South) Thursday
Zone 3 & 4 ( Route 34 North) Wednesday
