Klondike Highway Closure - May 4th, 2026 at 3:00pm

DOT is going to close the Klondike Highway today at 3:00pm for at least an hour, possibly an hour and a half. There is some work that DOT will be doing on the road, but they will relay to Skagway PD when the road is good to be opened again and there will be another notice posted. 

Instructions:

Keep watch for update of highway's re-opening sometime around 4:30 to 5:00pm.
