Two separate crashes on STH 54/57 (Sturgeon Bay Road) involving five vehicles resulted in four people injured on Monday, May 4, 2026.
At approximately 10:45 a.m., the Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) was dispatched to a three‑vehicle crash on STH 54/57 (Sturgeon Bay Road) northbound near N Huron Road/Bay Settlement Road. Two occupants of one vehicle, a 77‑year‑old woman and a 95‑year‑old man both from Oconto Falls, sustained injuries. The woman’s injuries are believed to be potentially life‑threatening, while the man’s injuries are considered non‑life‑threatening. The driver of a second vehicle, a 61‑year‑old Luxemburg woman, also sustained non‑life‑threatening injuries. The driver of the third vehicle reported no injuries. The cause of this crash remains under investigation.
While officers were still on scene for the first crash, GBPD was dispatched shortly after 12:00 p.m. to a second crash in the same area on STH 54/57 (Sturgeon Bay Road) southbound near N Huron Road/Bay Settlement Road. As a result, one driver, a 16‑year‑old Luxemburg female, reported non‑life‑threatening injuries. The driver of the second vehicle reported no injuries. The initial cause of this crash is believed to be inattentive driving.
STH 54/57 (Sturgeon Bay Road) was fully reopened for travel at approximately 2:35 p.m.
