Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that PSEG has scheduled temporary power outages in the below listed locations between 11 p.m., Monday, May 4th, 2026, and 3 a.m., Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.
The outage is necessary to make critical upgrades to enhance reliability to its service network.
The following streets will be affected:
• 12th Ave., between Littleton Ave. and S. 12th St.
• S. 11th St., between 12th Ave. and 13th Ave.
• S. 9th St., between 12th Ave. and 13th Ave.
• S. 8th St., between 12th Ave. and South Orange Ave.
• S. 7th St., between 11th Ave. and South Orange Ave.
• S. 6th St., between 11th Ave. and South Orange Ave.
• 13th Ave., between Littleton Ave. and S. 9th St.
