Officers responded to the listed area regarding a suspicious vehicle. They contacted the driver and attempted to detain him. The suspect pulled away, and force was used to take him into custody. Officers searched his car and found a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Joel Marin, 31, for resisting arrest and weapon charges.
2. Weapons Arrest (0058) 4300 block of Continental Way, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle during a hit-and-run investigation. During the stop, officers observed a handgun with an extended magazine in plain view inside the vehicle. ARRESTED: Stephan Oliver, 25, for weapons charges.
