May 4, 2026:
- Officer Brooker responded to the 100 block of North Elm Avenue for an abandoned vehicle obstructing traffic. A firearm was recovered from the vehicle.
- Officer Fitzpatrick visited with students at Queen’s Elementary School.
- Officers were dispatched to Park Road and Fourth Street for an intoxicated driver in the area. A 24-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated (high blood alcohol content/super drunk).
- Officers responded to the 1800 block of Chapin Street for a warrant arrest. A 51-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for homicide.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at East Ganson Street and North Waterloo Avenue. The 28-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officers were dispatched to West Louis Glick Highway and Clinton Street for a civil stand by. A 57-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
