CERT Is Back at Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station!
Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station is pleased to announce the return of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.
We invite both new and returning community members to attend our CERT Kickoff Event on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station, located at 4554 Briggs Avenue in La Crescenta.
The CERT program provides valuable emergency preparedness training designed to help residents better protect themselves, their families, and their neighborhoods during disasters and large-scale emergencies. Training topics include:
- Basic disaster medical aid
- Fire suppression and utility control
- Search and rescue techniques
- Disaster preparedness and organization
- Supporting first responder efforts during emergencies
In a major emergency, CERT training provides community members with practical skills and knowledge to assist others safely until help arrives.
For additional information, please contact the Community Relations and Crime Prevention Office at [email protected].
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new CERT members back to the program.
