Activity for May 6, 2026:
- Officer Tierney was dispatched to the 100 block of West Wesley Street for found narcotics. Charges will be sought on a 30-year-old male for possessing narcotics with the intent to distribute.
- Officer Goings responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 47-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Prospect Street for an attempted robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
- JPD members attended the annual Jackson Law Enforcement Memorial.
- Officer Tenney located a wanted subject in the 100 block of Price Street. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of South Mechanic Street. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 1500 block of Chapin Street for a domestic dispute. A 31-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault – strangulation.
- Officer Tenney conducted a traffic stop near East High Street and Research Drive. The 65-year-old male driver was arrested for possession of narcotics.
- Officers were dispatched to Lansing Avenue and West Monroe Street for a domestic dispute. The 26-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival and has not been located.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a wanted subject in the 600 block of North Wisner Street. A 58-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
