The East Bay Regional Fire Department plans to conduct pile burns in the area of Wildcat Canyon Road along the Selby Trail, between Central Park Drive and Cannon Drive. These controlled burns are part of an ongoing effort to reduce vegetative fuel and help lower wildfire risk in the area.
Residents may notice smoke in the air throughout the day while the work is underway.
