Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to an aggravated menacing incident.
On May 6th at approximately 2:50 p.m., members of the Special Operations Division responded to the 100 block of West 8th Street in reference to an aggravated menacing incident. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with a male subject, at which time he fled the area on foot. A short time later, the male subject was taken into custody without further incident and identified as 31-year-old Javon Harding.
Harding has been charged with the following offenses:
- Aggravated Menacing
- Terroristic Threatening
- Resisting Arrest
- Lewdness
- Criminal Trespass (Third Degree)
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
