Southwest Resiliency Park repairs; 24-hour playground closure to begin 3 p.m. Monday
The Southwest Resiliency Park playground will be closed for approximately 24 hours starting at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 11, to complete a minor repair of the safety surfacing material at the base of the climbing tower.
The surfacing material requires 24 hours to be cured appropriately. The rest of the park will remain open. The playground is anticipated to reopen by 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, after the conclusion of the curing.
Milling of Monroe and Seventh Streets planned for tomorrow
The intersection of Monroe Street and Seventh Street will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, May 9, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., as crews with Your Way Construction will be conducting milling activities.
Detour signs will be posted and Hoboken Police Officers will be on site to assist.
Additionally, parking restrictions will be in effect. Please abide by all posted signs.
Voter registration deadline is Tuesday, May 12; Hoboken to offer late night, in-person voter registration tonight, Monday, and Tuesday
Tuesday, May 12, 2026, is the last day for New Jersey residents to register to vote in the Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Primary Election.
Residents may register online at https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/register, or in person at the City Clerk's Office on the first floor of Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington St.
To accommodate residents, the City of Hoboken is offering late night registration hours, between the hours of 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. today, May 8, Monday, May 11, and Tuesday, May 12.
