CAD CALLS: 861
1. Carjacking (1433) 2400 Block of East Acacia Street, Park District
The female victim, 40, was with the known suspect in the listed area when he vandalized the victim’s property, pulled her from the vehicle, and fled in it. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1739) 600 Block of East Alpine Avenue, Civic District
The female victim, 42, was walking in the listed area when the suspect challenged her to fight. When the victim refused, the suspect threatened her and attempted to stab her with a sharp object. As the victim fled, the suspect threw the knife at her but missed. The victim was uninjured. The suspect was located by officers and arrested. ARRESTED: Andrea Ramirez, 29, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Robbery Arrest (1923) 600 Block of East Oak Street, Civic District
The female victim, 18, was at a residence in the listed area when the known suspect threatened her, battered her, and stole her property. The suspect was located, arrested, and found to be in possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: A 16-year-old male for robbery, terrorist threats, and weapon charges.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2018) 800 Block of Yerba Buena Avenue, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 35, was working at an area business when the suspect became upset and struck the victim with an object. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by medics at the scene. The suspect was arrested without incident. SUSPECT: A 12-year-old male for assault with a deadly weapon.
5. Battery / Resisting Arrest (2223) 500 Block of West Sonora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 25, was at the listed location when the suspect produced a possible fake handgun and threatened to kill the victim. Officers responded and contacted the suspect. He refused to comply with the officers’ commands, and force was used to take the suspect into custody. The suspect sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment. ARRESTED: Spencer Miranda, 37, for battery, resisting arrest, and animal cruelty.
