On Sunday May 17, 2026, the Twp. of Washington will be holding a 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair. The event will take place on the streets surrounding Schlegel Lake (Woodfield Rd., Sussex Rd. Colonial Blvd., see attached course map) starting at 9:00 A.M. and ending at approximately 11:30 A.M. As a result, vehicular traffic will be limited and street parking is prohibited along the race route during the event. No through traffic
will be granted into the course route. Residents will be granted access to and from their residences if required. We are asking for your cooperation in making this event a success and keeping everyone safe. Please exercise extreme caution if driving through the race course as there will be approximately 200 runners/walkers
