Please be advised that the Borough Water and Sewer Department will begin flushing hydrants on May 14, 2026, starting in the Tuckerton Beach area and continuing throughout the remainder of town thereafter.

During this process, residents may experience temporary low water pressure or discoloration of water. This is normal and expected during hydrant flushing operations. If you experience air or discoloration in your water supply, please flush your internal plumbing system by running cold water only from all fixtures until the water runs clear.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we complete this important maintenance procedure to help maintain the quality and reliability of our water system.
