1. Resisting Arrest (1630) 900 Block of South Harrison Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a subject who was under the influence and was causing a disturbance. Officers located the suspect and attempted to detain him. The suspect pulled away, and force was used to take him into custody. While in custody the suspect continued to be combative and assaulted an officer. ARRESTED: Luis Alfaro, 25, for resisting, public intoxication, and battery on an officer.
2. Resisting Arrest (2119) 2500 East Lafayette Street, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on the report of a suspect who was violating a restraining order. The suspect climbed onto the roof of an apartment building, threw heavy objects at the officers, and refused to surrender. When officers approached the suspect, he attempted to flee and fell. The suspect was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. ARRESTED: Isais Ibanez, 38, for violation of a restraining order, assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism, and resisting arrest.
3. Residential Robbery (0532) 1300 Block of East Park Street, Park District
The victims were inside their residence when the suspect broke a window, entered, threatened them with a shovel, took property and then fled. The victims were uninjured. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
