The water line and roadway repairs were completed, and the road reopened at 10 p.m. Monday night.
The Bear Valley CSD Water Department determined the issue was caused by a hole in a one-inch service line. Once the cause was identified, repairs were completed in approximately one hour.
The sinkhole was not as large as it initially appeared. It measured approximately three feet by four feet and was roughly three feet deep.
