Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an investigation.
On May 12 at approximately 9:47 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the area of 23rd and North Pine Streets in reference to a drug investigation when they observed 34-year-old Andrew Polack engaged in drug sales. Police made contact with Polack, and found him to be in possession of 14.5 grams of crack cocaine and 1.59 grams of heroin.
Polack was taken into custody without incident, and has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released after posting $4,500 secured bail.
