In response to resident concerns, the City of Asbury Park will be implementing one-way traffic patterns along the following streets on Monday, May 18, 2026:
- Bridge Street between Sunset Avenue and Third Avenue (southbound only)
- New Street between Third Avenue and First Avenue (southbound only)
- Pine Street between Sunset Avenue and Asbury Avenue (northbound only)
These changes are being made due to narrow roadway widths, rising parking demand, and safety concerns. A one-way traffic pattern will maintain necessary parking for residents and visitors while providing a safer environment for all roadway users.
Signage and roadway striping will be installed later this week and on Monday, May 18, to reflect the new traffic pattern.
