The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) will hold a public meeting open house to discuss the Interstate 29 Corridor Study and present final study recommendations. The event will consist of a prerecorded presentation and informational display boards, along with opportunities to visit with the project team and ask questions. The prerecorded presentation will be shown multiple times during the public meeting open house.
 
The goal of this event is to present key study findings and draft final recommendations, as well as explain how the study report will inform future projects completed by the SDDOT, the Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council (SIMPCO), the City of North Sioux City, the community of Dakota Dunes, and Union County.

This public meeting open house represents the final planned public meeting for this study before the final report is completed. Your input will help the study team refine and finalize recommendations.

Written comments will be accepted at the public meeting open house and through the study website until Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
